Welcome to Tasty Pizza in Minneapolis, where we've been serving loyal customers fantastic food for 55 years.

As a staple in the area, our goal is to provide family-friendly service, community spirit and support, and meals that both warm your heart and make your mouth water. With a menu that boasts delicious homemade signature pizzas, delectable sandwiches, local craft beers, and hearty comfort-food favorites like chicken tenders, burgers, onion rings and fries, we're here to make our home your home. In honor of our 55th anniversary, learn a little more about how we got to where we are today.

WHO ARE WE?

Tasty pizza is a family Minneapolis pizza business with passionate roots. We began in 1963 with founder Louie Sigorney and quickly became who we are with the help of partner Duane Estrem, aka Fat Man, who would go on to invent the secret family recipe that makes all our pizzas so special.

It's hard to imagine anyone who doesn't like pizza, but interestingly enough, Duane wasn't a fan when he partnered with our founder. Thanks to a love for food, a lot of recipe tweaking and a dedication to superb spices and fresh ingredients, Duane became a full-blown pizza-lover. Today, we use his amazing recipe to bring our handcrafted pizzas to life and make lasting impressions on our loyal customers. Our pizza was delicious enough to change his mind — it will blow yours.

Because Tasty Pizza was such a success, Duane decided to do everything he could to give back to the neighborhood that showed him so much support. With the help of his friend John Huff, he began investing in community outreach efforts, including help with fundraisers, local athletic team support, involvement with the local high school and many more involvement initiatives.

Today, Todd Estrem and his wife, Tawnya, proudly continue the tradition his dad began by upholding a community spirit — including discounts for veterans — and crafting pizza passionately.
